betterserve adaware garbage.

betterserve, ugly pop up junk  attachement

Not sure how, but I have a feeling that I got rid of, for now in any case, this ugly stupid garbage program betterserve which somehow attached itself to just about anything I tried on the Internet.

Unwanted ads for all sorts of products and services showed up or popped up and key words like office, Internet and many others were green double underlined and if the mouse pointer landed anywhere near these words another re direct ad would pop up. Most annoying actually and I can not understand why any advertisers would subscribe or promote this  garbage.

Surely anyone treated to this would avoid buying the advertised products or services which are worse then just minor annoyances.

Powerfoot and Underarm...

You have little choice when you are a salesmen for a large firm, or a store clerk or in general in touch with the public, you just can't be a bit of a stinker. You may get away with it on a construction site or running a refuse collection business or utility but not as a dressed up rep or agent, male or female.

I am retired and no longer need to apply a heavy coat of so called underarm deodorant as frequently as in days gone by. But when you go to the bank, drugstore and shopping you don't want to stand out facing people giving you a not so pleasant second look...as I sometime unfortunately catch myself doing. Sorry.

Using a deodorant stick today, I own several brands, I just about found myself in a ridiculous almost painful situation and could not get home fast enough to apply soap and water to the areas. I can't explain why but even with all the traces of the deodorant gone the areas still felt quite uncomfortable.
What to do. Fortunately I had a hitherto little used jar of what's labelled as  POWERFOOT.  Extra strength foot cream, by Love-Ye-Face, advertised  as being invigorating-purifying-cooling-deodorizing, and with all that this stuff is made with pure essential oils.

Fortunately for me, my feet are in great shape, no odor that I can discern, no sores, no problem.
But this stuff worked like a miracle on my underarms. Not only was the sting gone within a few minutes but as it turns out this cream also ended up to be a fine deodorant instead of the commercial stick. And very surprisingly little of it is needed.
There is a tiny print listing of some 45 ingredients all held together in a beautifully smelling butter coloured gel cream..
I might even try it as a foot cream...

Poisen Ivy, Poisen Oak ?

I bought this place in town back in January and it certainly gives me something to do. The place has a home on it, large garage and four large grass lots to be regularly mowed as well as tall trees and a bunch of cedars.
In my effort to manage whatever grows under or near the mature cedars and ripping out some stuff close to the ground I must have touched some poisoned ivy or oak...Several large very inflamed looking areas on my forearms.
Happy Camper it says on the jar of Luv-ye-Face product. For Bug bites, Sunburn and Poison Ivy it states on the label.
I carefully washed the red and somewhat inflamed areas on my arm and applied a generous coating of  Happy Camper. I had already used the cream on a number of nasty little mosquito bites, there was no need for skin testing, I knew this stuff worked on bug bites the question was is it equally effective to fend off plant poisoning or sting.
It took a few days and most of the more serious inflammation is long gone. Now, about 2 weeks later there are only some tiny spots sort of like 25 pinhead red dots in a couple of areas the size of a quarter.
I will be a lot more careful removing weeds, in addition to gloves I will wear long sleeves and trousers with long pant legs. I hope the rest of the red spots will disappear, apparently with Ivy these areas return occasionally whereas Oak is a bit more forgiving.

The pictures show area two days after initial treatment ....and now its gone..almost.

Worryspot on my leg,

Some time ago I noticed a brown spot on my left leg about 3 to 4 inches above the knee. As we get older things get a bit spotty here and there. But this thing ended up to be the size of a penny as well as the colour and I started to worry about it a bit.
Having had a wonderful result and cured rash with a love-u-face product I decided to try their super moisturising cream they call Calm+Restore.  It took a few days but gradually this spot, small blisters and all calmed down and the skin restored. By now, several months later I can't even find the exact location of this spot.
I have used small quantities of this product on other skin areas which as a result of summer heat, small insect bites and scratches and scrapes needed a bit of tender loving treatment. As I said I only use extremely small quantities rub a bit of the cream with my fingertip on the area needing a bit of care and the sore simply disappears.

Leg reddish itchy skin rash treatment

For several months now I've noticed a bit of a rash, reddish coloured skin irritation on my legs, ankles up to my knees. Both legs. Nothing too serious but it got to be somewhat itchy as well and eventually I decided to ask my doctor about it. It was suggested to make an appointment with a dermatologist, and like all specialists they are busy people and the appointment was in a month and in another city.

I had already tried a good quality hand cream, Shea butter, change of laundry detergent and a mild soap, it was winter and as I always do I made sure the new socks and long-john underwear  goes through the laundry before it is worn.

And then along came Mighty Bee, wonder cream for face and body as it is advertised. It is a love-ye-face brand and comes in a small 211G, 0.5Oz. plastic jar.

I tried a small amount on a small area of my skin and within a day or so noticed considerable improvement. The area lightened the red disappeared somewhat and I decided to go all the way and treat both legs with an extremely light coating of the almost white, smooth bee gel.

Within a couple of days the rash had almost completely disappeared.  Now, late summer no more rash, I use the cream extremely sparingly and more than 75% of the jar is still available.
The appointment with the out of town dermatologist was cancelled.

An incredible product as far as I can tell and considering the small amount used  on the effected area ( ankles to knees) this proved to be a superbly cost effective procedure as well...
